The Spine As Master Controller
To help his patients understand chiropractic care, Dr. Springer will show patients each part of the spine using a spine model. We’ll discuss how the nerves go to each part of the body and how the spine controls the body. You’ll find out that when there are some misalignments in the spine, sometimes there can be other issues throughout the body. When nerve interference is removed through a chiropractic adjustment, the spine can work optimally and function considerably better. The New Patient Journey
Because no patients are exactly alike, every new patient journey will be different. For someone in acute pain, we may initially see them a couple of times a week for a few weeks and gradually less like once a week then once every other week. You may then be advised to move to a maintenance routine where you may come in just once a month. If we’re doing corrective work, the frequency may be 2-3 times a week for a 3-6 month plan. Plans can be modified accordingly.
Our Techniques
A variety of techniques is practiced at Northeast Chiropractic Center. These include Palmer Package, a combination of Diversified, Thompson Drop, Gonstead and more, as well as Activator Methods®. Dr. Springer always puts patients at ease who are concerned about being adjusted. “I will explain to patients each step of the way what I’m doing and what they are going to experience.” Dr. Springer employs gentler techniques for children, who always seem to enjoy getting adjusted.
